9. Have your HVAC unit cleaned regularly to ensure that your condensation drain does not clog and start an overflow.

10. Periodically, turn off all water fixtures in your home or business and watch your meter usage dial to see if there is any movement due to an unknown water leak.

11. Keep an eye out for any warning signs of an impending water loss problem, such as water stains and mold growth on ceilings, walls and floors. Also any water dripping, water leaks, or mold growth anywhere inside your home or business.
